Dr. Vanderhook limits his practice to orthodontics and practices exclusively out of his office in Charles Town. He attended the University of Maryland where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Dr. Vanderhook then attended dental school at West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown where he received his DDS degree. After practicing as a general dentist with the U.S. Public Health Service, Dr. Vanderhook decided to specialize in the practice of Orthodontics. He was accepted to the Georgetown University Orthodontic Residency program where he received his Master of Science degree and specialty certificate in Orthodontics. He belongs to both the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association.
